This time I will not talk about shoes, I will discuss about Stacey Bendet's proposal from Alice + Olivia for this Fall-Winter 2014.
Inspired by the illustrated books of Benjamin Lacombe. If you have ever seen an illustration of him, you will note three things: melancholy, mystery and romance. A strong inspiration from my point of view, captured in these beautiful pieces that invite us to delve further. Dark and Victorian touches that manage to contemplate the essence of a strong but "innocent" woman.

En esta ocasión no me enfocaré en hablar de zapatos, sino en la propuesta de Stacey Bendet de Alice + Olivia para este Otoño-Invierno 2014.
La inspiración, los libros ilustrados de Benjamin Lacombe. Si alguna vez han visto una ilustración de él, podrán notar tres cosas: melancolía, misterio y romanticismo. Una inspiración fuerte que desde mi punto de vista, más que capturada en estas hermosas piezas que nos invitan a adentrarnos aún más. Toques oscuros y victorianos que logran contemplar la esencia de una mujer fuerte pero "inocente".
